Connecting Your WhatsApp Number & Alert Settings

Verify your WhatsApp number, enable alerts, and fine-tune alert times, alert types, and cryptocurrencies so TradeSlayers messages match your daily trading routine.

Step 1: Connect & Verify Your WhatsApp Number

From your dashboard, open the WhatsApp Alerts section and enter your WhatsApp number in full international format, including the + and country code (for example +92XXXXXXXXXX). Click "Send Verification Code," then enter the code you receive on WhatsApp—once verified, you’ll see a confirmation message and your number is ready to receive TradeSlayers alerts. Make sure the number is active on WhatsApp and able to receive messages so verification and alerts work reliably.

Step 2: Enable WhatsApp Alerts & Configure Times

Toggle "Enable WhatsApp Alerts" to ON so TradeSlayers can deliver messages to your verified number—if this switch is OFF, no alerts will be sent even if the number is verified. Then configure when you want alerts to arrive by choosing alert times from the available slots, adding multiple time windows depending on your plan, or using Random Times for more natural distribution. All alerts respect your selected timezone, so you can schedule things like a morning market check, evening recap, or late-night volatility alerts within the precise windows that fit your life.

Step 3: Select Alert Types & Cryptocurrencies

Choose the types of alerts you want to receive—for example price alerts when markets hit your levels, market updates with daily summaries and key trends, and AI Insights (if included in your plan) for AI-powered trading signals. You can turn each alert type on or off at any time to match how actively you’re trading. Next, pick the cryptocurrencies you care about most, such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, Binance Coin, or your preferred altcoins—alerts will only be sent for the coins you’ve selected so your WhatsApp feed stays focused and relevant.

Step 4: Set Timezone, Fit Alerts Into Workflow & Troubleshoot

Set your correct timezone (for example Asia/Karachi – GMT +05:00) so alerts land at the expected local time—an incorrect timezone can cause alerts to show up at odd hours. Once everything is configured, TradeSlayers fits naturally into your workflow: configure WhatsApp alerts once, receive signals automatically, open the AI Chat Assistant for explanations, analyze each alert, and make informed trading decisions without staring at charts all day. If alerts don’t arrive, first check for common mistakes like missing country code in your phone number, the WhatsApp alerts toggle being OFF, no alert times selected, the wrong timezone, or expecting alerts for coins you haven’t selected—if issues continue, follow the "Troubleshooting Alert Delivery Issues" guide and re-verify your number before contacting support.

Step 5: Choose Preferred Cryptocurrencies

Select the coins you actually care about so alerts stay relevant. For example, you might focus on majors like Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, or Binance Coin, plus a few altcoins that match your strategy. TradeSlayers will only send WhatsApp alerts for the cryptocurrencies you’ve selected, so your feed isn’t cluttered with noise from markets you don’t trade.

Step 6: Confirm Your Timezone

Pick your correct timezone (for example Asia/Karachi – GMT +05:00) so alerts arrive at the expected local time. If the timezone is wrong, alerts might show up at strange hours—even if everything else is set up correctly—so it’s worth double-checking this setting before you rely on alerts. Once your timezone is accurate, you can confidently plan morning market checks, evening recaps, or night-time volatility alerts around your real schedule.

How This Fits Into Your Trading Routine

Once WhatsApp alerts are configured, TradeSlayers becomes a background assistant for your daily routine. You configure alerts once, receive messages automatically during your chosen time windows, open the AI Chat Assistant when needed for explanations, analyze each signal, and then make informed trading decisions without sitting in front of charts all day. Instead of reacting to every tick, you let TradeSlayers do the monitoring and only step in when an alert genuinely requires your attention.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

To avoid missing alerts, watch out for a few common setup mistakes: - Missing country code or incorrect phone format in your WhatsApp number - The "Enable WhatsApp Alerts" toggle left OFF - No alert times selected in your schedule - A wrong timezone selected, causing alerts at odd hours - Expecting alerts for coins you haven’t selected in your preferences If alerts don’t arrive, check and fix these first before assuming something more complex is wrong.

Need Help If Alerts Aren’t Arriving?

If you’re still not receiving alerts after reviewing your number, alert times, alert types, selected coins, and timezone, go to the "Troubleshooting Alert Delivery Issues" article in the Help Center for a step-by-step diagnostic checklist. You can also try re-verifying your WhatsApp number from the WhatsApp Alerts page to refresh the connection. If problems continue after that, contact support with details of your settings so we can help you get alerts flowing again as quickly as possible.
